MJ shivered a little bit from the cold wind, blowing through the narrow back alley she was walking along. New York City never was a safe place – running into a bunch of muggers was a commonness not only at night, but also at daytime. But the last few weeks too many people got missing, even for NYC. Peter asked her to help him investigate what was going on. Too bad he didn't go with her himself – having Spider Man around would make her feel way safer, though he didn't leave her alone at least, and his super heroine friend Black Cat was covering her back.

A loud cry and ominous roar broke through the darkness, making the ladies twitch reflexively. Black Cat dashed to the source of sound and MJ followed her after a few seconds of hesitation, realizing that being left alone without any fighting skills was even more dangerous then facing the potential threat within a heroine. Black Cat almost bumped into another dark-haired lady, who ran around the corner. Both exchanged a few blitz punches, dodging from the opponents' attacks pretty easily, before jumping back and keeping the safe distance, looking at each other cautiously.
