A week had passed since the group of kobolds got eaten by the dragon. Purple was the only survivor, and he wasn’t sure if he should be happy or sad because of that. At least his friends weren’t suffering anymore, while he had to eat whatever left of them after they went all the way through the dragon’s digestive system… He didn’t want to admit that, but after eating so much dragon shit, he began genuinely enjoying it – his own digestive system dealt with it surprisingly easily, providing his body with so much nutrients that formerly slender purple-scaled kobold became not-so-slender anymore with plenty of pudge hanging off his belly and hips. Probably, kobolds were meant to serve as dragon toilets by nature? Not a thing to be proud of, but still it was better than starving to death or getting a food poisoning from consuming nasty waste… These gains made him quite worried about his survival since they made him look more and more appetizing. The dragon hasn’t eaten for quite a while already, and he might as well include his pet kobold in the menu… Later, when Purple ate the last pounds of shit and bones which remained of his friends and licked the rocky floor clean, serving his sole purpose, his master brought that question to the discussion. “Hey, lad, you’ve been a great shit-cleaner so far, but there’s no more job left for you as far as I can see…” The dragon crooned insinuatingly, making Purple gulp nervously and wrap his tail around his legs in anxiety.
