Aaron was making his way through the rain forest with a bushcraft spear in his hands. He was dressed only in a loincloth, barely covering his private parts. He had to survive alone in the jungle for an entire week to go through the rite of passage and earn the right to take a wife and start a new family. His body was fully mature, radiating strength, health and energy.
The air was hot and humid, making the hunter’s ebony skin cover with sweat. Aaron knew it wasn’t good – the more he sweated, the further his body odor spread. The jungle was full of predators, and a lone human was far from the top of the food chain…

Aaron is sent into the jungle alone to perform the rite of passage. But this patch of jungle is the hunting ground of a giant Smilodon, and the beast is not happy to see intruders. It mangles the human beyond recognition and partially devours him, sending a message to the rest of his tribe to find another place for their rites of passage.
