Starlight got what she had always dreamed of and became the ruler of Equestria. Of course, all the good intentions she used to justify her lust for power were quickly forgotten, and her true nature as a cruel dictator was revealed. By the way, since you’ve already finished the 4th part of Starlight’s Revenge series, can I ask you for a little favor in the form of a more detailed review on part 5? I spent one week writing it and one more week editing it. I’m on the fence whether putting this much effort into it was worth it, and is it even noticeable to an average reader compared to the previous parts?
Very well written. My only complaint:
“ Then the ball hit the floor and bounced a few times, proving that it was completely solid inside.”
That’s not how sphere’s work. Bouncing relies on surface tension, not whether or not something’s solid. Basketballs are a great example. Sorry if I’m being nitpicky. 😅

Unfortunately, we still haven’t fixed the comments on story series on this site yet, so they keep appearing under the first chapter regardless of which chapter was commented. I assume you commented on chapter 2, in which Twilight tries to attack Starlight with a sword, and Starlight shrinks it into a ball using her magic, right?
I’m afraid you’re incorrect. Surface tension is a term applied specifically to liquids. It occurs in the surface layer of molecules due to cohesive electrostatic forces that pull all the molecules of the liquid together. In the body of liquid they are equal in all directions, but on the surface they’re imbalanced due to the lack of liquid on one side, causing the natural effect that strives to minimize the possible surface area of the liquid.
Basketball ball bounces because its elastic rubber surface deforms and compresses the air inside, which is already under pressure exceeding atmospheric on the outside. The compressed air acts like a spring that expands and restores the spherical shape of the ball, causing it to bounce from the surface it hit. Car tires work the same way, absorbing shocks from road bumps.
A metal ball bounces off the stone floor due to nearly perfect elastic collision of two solid bodies with minimal losses of kinetic energy. This effect would be far less pronounced if the metal ball had any substantial cavities/irregularities, causing the loss of kinetic energy due to plastic deformation of its walls.
